Location: New Light Animal Hospital, serving Wake Forest, Creedmoor, Durham, North Raleigh, and surrounding areas.

Position: Full-Time, Day Shift, and every other Saturday.

About Us: New Light Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital dedicated to providing top-notch care to our community. We are currently seeking an experienced receptionist to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and interact with clients in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Manage incoming calls on a multi-line phone system.
  • Accommodate client needs with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
  • Schedule patient appointments according to hospital guidelines.
  • Obtain medical and other necessary information from referring veterinarians.
  • Receive deposits and payments, and explain payment options to clients.
  • Balance the cash drawer and keep the daily report up to date.
  • Enter client communication into Cornerstone Software.
  • Communicate efficiently with staff members to organize case flow.
  • Check pets in at curbside drop-off, handling pets of various sizes and temperaments.
  • Perform cleaning duties in the lobby, reception area, restroom, and parking lot.

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff and clients.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a team environment.
  • Experience with Cornerstone Software is a plus.
  • Veterinary or medical experience is strongly preferred.
