Location: Dayton, NJ
Pay Rate: $38 per hour

Leading flavor manufacturer in Dayton, NJ is in need of an Automation Technician.

The main function of this role is to support site goals with the development and execution of automation improvements. This individual will engage in improvement efforts to support process improvements and new equipment installations.

Duties:
Ability to access, troubleshoot and modify PLC control systems.
Ability to access, troubleshoot and modify HMI/SCADA systems.
Identification, Design, and Implementation electrical equipment upgrades
Minor Project identification and execution
Troubleshoot electrical control issues using schematics.
Assist in the planning and coordination of plant shutdown project activities which includes direct supervision of contractor project crews
Lead and participate in MT improvements
Perform job duties in a manner that follow food safety and quality guidelines including but not limited to HACCP, GMPs, QA Policies.

Requirements:
5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and automation
Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and programming
