Irrigation Technician Apprentice

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Position reports to Irrigation Manager, Account Managers, Division Manager
• Professionally represent Mill Brothers Landscape Group in all activities
• Understand and follow the Company safety and operational policies
• Learn how to perform irrigation activations, winterizations, and monthly inspections
• Learn and make required repairs to irrigation systems
• Learn how to program all types of irrigation controllers and document programs
  
• Complete daily paperwork (timesheets, time and materials sheets, etc.)
• Participate in snow removal operations
  
• Other activities, as assigned by Management, to meet Company goals

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as both part of a team and independently
• Must be able to accept directions and execute directives as given
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional time and organizational skills
• Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly and 75lbs occasionally
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willingness to learn
• Communicate in both English and Spanish
• Clean driving record that is insurable with company insurance

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• No minimum education requirements
  
• 1+ years of landscape, grounds maintenance, or irrigation experience.
