All Sport Health and Fitness is the winner of the Best of the Hudson Valley awards for Best Fitness Club and Best Body Sculpting Class, and were looking to add strong Group Exercise instructors to our team. Performing in front of an audience isnt for everyone, but if youre someone who loves getting in front of a group, showing them how to work out, and love motivating others to do the best they canthen we want you to join our kick-butt team of instructors.

THE BASICS:


Group Exercise instructors are motivators They help us through the workouts we sometimes dont want to do, and they pick us up with their energy. Heres a few things were looking for:

  • Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to classes youre teaching to be available to welcome members to their workout, and answer any questions they may have.
  • Be a great ambassador for Group Exercise
  • Provide adequate warm-up and cool-downs.
  • Provide individualized instruction, but still be able to lead the group as a whole through the workout.
  • Vary exercise routines while complying with established formats and standards.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Certified Instructor (ACE, AFAA) or equivalent
  • If Les Mills, current on all Les Mills certificates and auto-ship with formats applying for
  • 1-year minimum teaching experience preferred
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Professional manner and appearance
  • Must have a high degree of energy, be physically fit, and have the endurance to complete the workout.
  • Regularly communicates with members and management about interests, needs, and concerns.
