Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be a passionate and agile leader, who strives to deliver superior value to our internal and external customers every day. This hands-on position requires dynamic leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, critical thinking as well as a compelling initiative to see the organization succeed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of processes, procedures, and systems to execute master production schedule and material requirement plan.
  • Responsible for all facets of production schedules accounting for capacity and lead-time constraints and ensuring on-time delivery of product.
  • Actively participate in the demand and supply planning process, analyze demand inputs to develop and control production to balance service and working capital.
  • Improve and maintain required data in ERP systems to ensure proper execution of MRP. Work cross functionally to develop and implement solutions for future ERP systems.
  • Act as part of site leadership team, in developing and executing overall organizational strategies to ensure business success.
  • Liaise with internal customers regularly to align priorities, commitments, constraints, and recovery plans.
  • Lead initiatives to improve and optimize planning processes and systems resulting in enhanced supply delivery and efficient coordination of materials and resources used in manufacturing processes.
  • Develop the technical capability of the workforce and leadership through ongoing training and development.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and experience in the field.
  • Minimum of 6 years related experience in planning in a manufacturing environment.
  • APICS CPIM certification or equivalent highly desired.
  • Experience in rapid scaling and growth with a proven track record of success strongly desired.
  • Minimum of 3 years prior management experience. Prior experience in manufacturing operations management highly desired.
  • Strong leadership skills, self-directed and the ability to make independent decisions and influence change.
  • Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft applications required.
  • Experience with planning and executing manufacturing
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Proven track records in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence through lean manufacturing approaches.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and drive corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015
