Master Electrical Services, a family owned and operated business, is looking for Electrical Apprentices. Preferred candidates should have a mechanical background, electrical knowledge and a customer-first approach.  Industry best benefits, local work and company provided tools. A valid driver's license, MVR and background check are required with all positions.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties may include, but not limited to the following:

  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using instruments and hand tools.
  • Trace out short circuits in wiring, using test meter.
  • Strip insulation from wire ends, using wire stripping pliers, and attach wires to terminals for subsequent soldering.
  • Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools.
  • Construct controllers and panels, using power drills, drill presses, taps, saws, and punches.
  • Install copper-clad ground rods, using a manual post driver.
  • Thread conduit ends, connect couplings, and fabricate and secure conduit support brackets, using hand tools.
  • Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace defective or worn parts, and reassemble equipment, using hand tools.

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

  • Minimum education requirement of High School diploma or (GED) equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in Electrical Construction preferred
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
