Job Responsibilities:
  • Assemble top drive systems according to technical specifications and blueprints.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on top drive components.
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble parts as needed.
  • Install and configure hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
  • Replace defective parts and components.
  • Conduct performance testing to ensure systems are functioning correctly.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex problems.
  • Manage inventory of parts and tools required for assembly and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including assembly logs and maintenance records.
  • Order replacement parts and manage logistics to ensure timely availability.
Experience / Education Requirements:
  • Requires a High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year’s general shop experience.
  • Ability to use precision tools and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; walk; use hands to handle/feel objects; and reach with hands and arms.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend long hours sitting and operating a motor vehicle.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may also have to do some lifting up to 45 pounds.
