Location: Remote Camp, Alaska

Just a short 45-minute flight from civilization, we offer competitive pay and a flexible work schedule.


Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mechanic proficient in both heavy machinery and light vehicles to join our remote camp team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of heavy machinery and light vehicles used in our operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery and light vehicles, including but not limited to bulldozers, excavators, trucks, and ATVs.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems with equipment.
  • Conduct inspections and assessments to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure equipment availability and minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanic working with heavy machinery and light vehicles.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues.
  • Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work in a remote camp environment and adhere to camp living conditions.
