Belay Technologies is seeking a a Cloud/Linux Systems Administrator to support the DCS TTO Integration Team. This position will support all the cloud environments, both unclassified and classified that are part of the overall DCS infrastructure footprint. 

Candidates are required to have the following:

  • TS/SCI Clearance with full polygraph
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience.  OR 
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general systems engineering experience  (any Process Area).  
  •  OR a Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.  
  • OR a PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field from an  accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience. 

Candidates are required to have the following skills:Required Skills/Experience:
• Cloud services experience (AWS, Azure); services provisioning, management of virtual services, familiarity with vendor Platform as a Service offerings
• Linux system administration and integration experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
• System monitoring and maintenance to include service upgrades and security patching and IAVA management
• Troubleshooting of services (Tier 1/2 level) 
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Configuration management support, familiarity with Puppet/SIMP, Ansible, Salt, Chef 
• Familiarity with configuration and workflow tools such as GitLab, Jira

Desired Skills:
• RPM development, deployment, and upgrade experience
