You will perform all echocardiography echocardiographic assessments and analyzing patients past medical history. Whether it be now or later, you do not want to miss this opportunity.   • Perform all modalities of echocardiography Echocardiographic assessment of 2D, M-Mode, Color flow and continuous wave doppler, Stress echocardiography, Pharmacological stress echocardiography, Transesophageal echocardiograms.
  • Must be able to analyze patient’s clinical history, identify the purpose of the examination, and expand the examination as necessary to answer the clinical questions.
  • Perform quantitative analysis of Echocardiographic studies Analysis includes: systolic function (ejection fraction and wall motion analysis), diastolic function, pulmonary pressure, hemodynamic assessment, assessment of valvular abnormalities, changes in gradients, and critical values. Perform strain of measurements.
  • Prepares equipment for procedures to be performed. Cleans and disinfects equipment following patient use. Maintains equipment cleaning logs.
What is Required:
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Active CPR certification is required.
  • Must have Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer through Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Cardiac Ultrasound Technician in a physician office or clinic.
