Your Opportunity:
This position is a full-time, position reporting to the Chief Marketing and Operations Officer. As the Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our digital banking services. This role requires a deep understanding of banking operations, financial products, and data analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to interpret complex data sets, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making and enhance customer experiences.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to optimize processes and workflows within the MyBambu operations.
- Project Management: Lead or participate in projects to implement new features, systems, or processes, including defining project scope, creating timelines, managing resources, and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all business processes and systems adhere to financial regulations and industry standards, including anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC), and data protection.
- Reporting and Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and documentation to track progress, measure performance, and communicate findings to senior management.
Skill and Abilities:
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive and innovative approach to solving complex business problems and improving processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) and experience with business analysis software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Financial Knowledge: Understanding of financial products, banking operations, and regulatory requirements specific to the fintech industry.
- Project Management: Experience in managing projects, including defining scope, creating schedules, and coordinating with multiple teams.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of data processing, analysis and reporting.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the fintech or banking sector.
- Experience with data analysis tools, business analysis software, and familiarity with digital banking platforms.
- Spanish language is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
