Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced Analytical Chemist located in Bonners Ferry, ID. The analytical chemist will be responsible for supporting the R&D, quality control, and testing operations at KML Laboratories. Day-to-day tasks include, but are not limited to, sample preparation, operating laboratory equipment, conducting chemical analyses, interpreting, and reporting results, maintaining lab safety and cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with the company's Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Laboratory Skills, including experience with laboratory safety procedures, equipment operation, and scientific techniques.
• Analytical Skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret data, troubleshoot problems, and provide solutions.
• Experience with Quality Control methodologies and practices
• Familiarity with Laboratory Equipment, such as HPLC, GC-MS, ICP-MS, HPLC/MSMS etc.
• Research and Development (R&D) experience, including developing and validating analytical methods, designing experiments, and conducting scientific literature reviews.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
• 4 years' experience in dietary supplement preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
