Job Description:
As a member of the team, you will support the United States Transportation Command in Organizational Change Management. This effort will include informing stakeholders of upcoming change, assisting stakeholder communities with making the transition to new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) business processes, and reinforcing the change across the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) stakeholders during the implementation of this new commercial ERP capability.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
The OCM Consultant II will play a pivotal role in driving organizational change by leveraging their deep understanding of OCM theories and models, such as Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter's 8-step Model, or Lewin's Change Management Model, and their experience in developing and conducting OCM assessments and plans. The ideal candidate will develop relationships with stakeholders and possess a working knowledge of the organization's business operations, objectives, and industry context to align change initiatives with strategic goals. Understanding human behavior, motivation, and group dynamics in the context of change is essential for success in this role. The OCM Consultant II will analyze the impact of proposed changes on various aspects of the organization, including processes, systems, culture, and people. They will identify and categorize all stakeholders affected by the change, understand stakeholders' needs, concerns, and influence within the organization, and establish mechanisms to collect feedback throughout the change process. Collaboration with communications and training specialists will be essential to ensure messaging resonates with stakeholder groups and to develop training objectives that meet the needs of OCM. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to convey the purpose and benefits of change and to engage and influence stakeholders effectively. Additionally, the OCM Consultant II will help identify and support key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of change initiatives, tracking progress and providing regular reports to leadership and stakeholders. This role will also involve supporting pre and post-implementation surveys and the data collection, analysis, and reporting of results. Responsibilities include:
- Utilize OCM theories and models to develop and conduct OCM assessments and plans.

- Track progress and provide regular reports to leadership and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, organizational psychology, human resources, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in organizational change management or related field.
- Strong understanding of OCM theories and models, such as Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter's 8-step Model, or Lewin's Change Management Model.
- Experience developing and conducting OCM assessments and plans.
- Working knowledge of business operations, objectives, and industry context.
- Understanding of human behavior, motivation, and group dynamics in the context of change.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to convey the purpose and benefits of change and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in identifying and supporting key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
