We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead our Georgetown team with a focus to grow the business
through community involvement, strong start-up leadership skills, teambuilding, and a passion for
hospitality. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in General Manager
roles at comparable restaurants to be considered.

As the General Manager you are responsible for the overall success of the restaurant. Your scope covers the entirety of the restaurant. Daily activities and responsibilities evolve and change based on the needs of the business, but the core responsibilities are as follows:

Business building:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the Chamber of Commerce, local business leaders, local officials and nearby businesses such as movie theaters.
  • Identify opportunities for Juliet to sponsor local activities, events, schools that could assist in building strong community ties and grow the business.
  • Work with in-house marketing as well as our marking agency to ensure all necessary information is communicated and events, promotions etc are properly advertised.
Service:
  • Uphold company standards and practices in accordance with the Handbook, Service Standards, and Core Values of Juliet Italian Kitchen at all times.
  • Maintain training standards and materials.
  • Maintain design elements of all menus, QR codes, coasters, pens etc.
    • Own all things that are directly guest facing.
  • Create and maintain systems of operations for the flow of service and execution of service in the FOH.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and complaints in person or digitally.
  • Support and lead managers, servers, server assistants and bar staff.
  • Delegate priorities to team members and managers as needed.
  • Work with Chef team to make sure food is always up to our standards, garnished and served properly.
  • Make sure all drinks and wines are served correctly.
  • Complete and review all checklists for all positions, including your own.
  • Help ensure that all BEOs are accounted for and executed correctly.
Financial:
  • The GM is responsible for the P&L of his or her location. o
    • This involves controlling labor; monitoring repairs and maintenance and complying with budgetary goals. o
    • The GM will attend financial meetings to review the P&L of their location on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure team incomes, hourly wages, and salaries are at or above industry standards.
  • Balance all Daily Sales Reports Edit time punches and maintain accurate time punches daily.
  • Edit, approve and close out all tips using gratuity solutions.
  • Maintain tip out systems in accordance with company standards.
  • Handle all cash and make sure finances are balanced for each day.
    • Create change orders and do bank runs.
  • Assign counts and 86s to items in Toast
  • Review and adhere to budget for controllable expenses.
  • Make purchases such as glassware, silverware, flatware etc...
  • Maintain inventory of coasters, pens, uniforms and other branded materials.
  • Facilitate the financial success of the business by monitoring and controlling the schedule of all team members.
  • Limit waste and excess spending at all times.
  • Keep an inventory of paper goods and products.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors.
Administrative:
  • Hire and on-board team members into R365 accounting and HR applications, Toast, Grat Share, and other attendant software. o
    • It is ultimately the GMs responsibility to make sure that everyone gets paid and that everyone is entered legally into our systems.
  • Coach managers, AGMs and bar managers on administrative duties.
  • Serve as restaurant key-holder.
  • Write weekly manager schedule while overseeing the FOH and BOH schedules are drafted with the ebbs and flows of business volume in mind.
  • Keep track of time off requests and team member availability.
  • Discipline team-members as needed, including writeups and terminate.
  • Maintain staffing pars for all FOH team members.
  • Interview applicants.
  • Work with trainers on maintaining training materials
  • Perform reviews with team members after 60 days of employment.
  • Perform reviews with team members annually.
  • Set and establish wages for hourly/ salaried managers on an annual basis in compliance with the budget.
  • Receive and sign for deliveries
  • Draft agendas and lead weekly manager meetings for your team.
  • Maintain organization of paper products, checklists and training files.
  • Put away paper orders and keep the office clear of boxes.
  • Place orders for supplies in conjunction with the Chefs department with appropriate vendors.
  • Ensure the quality of product and the perception of product is always upheld to the highest standard.
  • Keep the restaurant stocked with office supplies, tools, and utensils as needed.
Maintenance:
  • Work closely with our facilities manager on any issues the outlet has so they can be addressed properly.
  • Fix and resolve all issues with internet, printers, POS, etc..
