JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about social media to join our team of marketing professionals as a Social Media Marketing Assistant. In this role, you will help develop and execute social media campaigns, creating shareable content and deliverables to support greater brand awareness and engagement. Our ideal candidate is a social media enthusiast with excellent writing skills, the ability to multitask, and experience in digital content creation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
  • Redirect incoming phone calls to the proper departments.
  • Manage the Outlook calendar.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
  • Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
  • Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in social media management, with experience leading successful teams.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media strategies.
  • Understanding of social media analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to craft compelling and consistent messaging.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design.
  • Knowledge of products and tools essential for creators' success.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERTISE:

  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Knowledge of Pipedrive, Adobe Photoshop, Hootsuite, Microsoft Suites, and Illustrator.
  • High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn about new innovations and software.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience with video editing (iMovie or Premiere).
