Buxmont Academy has six campuses in southeastern PA and uses restorative practices to encourage students to grow academically and emotionally. Our teachers, counselors, and support staff work together to build a healthy community environment for our students. As a math teacher, your innovative teaching methods will help prepare students for academic success.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am - 12pm, with potential for more hours or even full-time. Salary is $25 an hour. Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree or higher level of education, and either PA certification or the ability to obtain certification. We welcome qualified candidates who are interested in becoming teachers. We also welcome retired teachers who miss being in the classroom

Required skills/abilities for the math teacher role:

• Desire to teach secondary school-aged students and ability to adapt to their developmental status.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in high stress situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The capacity to work effectively both independently and with a team.
• Proficient computer skills.
