PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate international and export communications and customer concerns, including product update/changes, availability, scheduling, delivery, pricing, and new product development.
- Process all international orders. Issue pro forma invoices, IMO’s, SLI’s, and special quotations.
- Responsible for coordinating shipments, providing necessary documentation, and ensuring that all compliance requirements are met.
- Provide sales support in development/growth at key international accounts.
- Maintain the integrity of the international pricing structure and database on the internal computer system.
- Work with the EH&S Manager on changes/updates to SDS’s.
- Coordinate all RMA/credit requests and follow through with company paperwork.
- Primary backup for domestic Customer Service team - answer phones, customer inquiries, process orders, etc. May be assigned specific customer accounts to manage.
- Promote, support, and adhere to all safety, environmental and quality related policies and procedures.
- 3 years of work experience in international exports, customer service or equivalent.
- Understanding and previous experience of ERP systems. Syspro experience a plus.
- Must be proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with international colleagues and customers.
- Ability to interact effectively with other departments, including Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Finance.
- Ability to pass DOT/IATA/IMDG classes.
