Dynamic Transit, a transportation and logistics company, is seeking a Full Time Painter to join our mechanic team in our Hazelwood shop.

 

 

Position Duties:

  • Custom Paint for Peterbilt and Kenworth tractors 
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying undercoats
  • Mix and match paint colors using a paint code to achieve desired results
  • Utilize power tools for sanding and buffing
  • Use hand tools for detailed work such as trim and touch-ups
  • Perform minor auto body repairs and address rust spots
  • Handle auto glass removal and installation
  •  

Basic Qualifications (MINIMUM):

  • Proven experience in auto body repair and painting
  • Familiarity with mechanic work is a plus
  • Experience in custom paint schemes preferred, but not required
  • Experience in pinstripe paint work preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in using power tools for sanding and buffing
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures
  • Ability to detail vehicles to a high standard
  • Skilled in using hand tools for precise work
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
