People Architects is excited to partner with a manufacturer in South Central, PA, to recruit a Graphic Designer.


Summary:

Our client is a custom manufacturer located in South Central, PA. Their products are renewable, environmentally responsible, recyclable, and compostable.


The Graphic Designer leads the development of artwork and graphics finely tuned for flexographic and digital printing methodologies. Their primary duties involve brainstorming and articulating inventive concepts, overseeing client demands regarding packaging visuals, and evaluating the practicality of proposed designs for production. Emphasizing innovation and analytical skills, the Graphics Designer works closely with Customer Service and the Design Department to guarantee accurate preparation and ordering of the company’s product. 



Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and communicate innovative ideas for new artwork.
  • Analyze customer requirements concerning packaging graphics.
  • Assess the production feasibility of the proposed artwork.
  • Demonstrate creativity and problem-solving skills in graphic design.
  • Collaborate with the Design Department and Customer Service to ensure accurate plate ordering and master print card preparation.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, emphasizing safety and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Communicate with clients with a high degree of professionalism

Qualifications (required and preferred):

  • College education or significant coursework in computers, CAD, drafting, graphic arts, or relevant work experience.
  • Experience working on a Mac using Illustrator
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and sales staff.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in related fields such as corrugated packaging, graphic design education, or work experience
  • Mathematical skills, including proficiency in reading a tape measure
