Livingston Family Center is seeking contractual clinical therapists to provide therapeutic services to clients with mild to moderate mental health needs.

Livingston Family Center (LFC) is a nonprofit agency focused on providing quality community-based services that include outpatient mental health treatment, runaway and homeless youth emergency shelter and crisis intervention, and supervised visitation and exchanges for families affected by domestic violence.

Position Requirements

Master’s Degree from an accredited university in social work, psychology or counseling. Two-year minimum post-graduate experience and state license that is current and in good standing. Candidates must be committed to our shared values including clinical excellence, community inclusion, community benefit, innovation, integrated care, and improvement.


Contractual Responsibilities

  • Ability to establish a strong therapeutic rapport with diverse clientele
  • Complete thorough biopsychosocial assessments and measurable treatment plans
  • Schedule appointments with referred clients in coordination with Office Manager
  • Complete required paperwork including Progress Notes and Intake Assessments
  • Coordinate client care and treatment with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, and other professionals as appropriate
  • Complete insurance applications for paneling
  • Complete insurance authorizations as required
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and LFC Policies and Procedures and Agency Privacy Practices
