IT Intern

Bard Manufacturing Company, Inc., a leading manufacturer of commercial heating and air conditioning systems, has an opening for an IT Intern at our corporate office in Bryan, OH.

Scope and Responsibilities:

The IT intern will support the computer functions performed by the IT staff.

Duties include assisting the PC Technician and Network Administrator with the following:

• User help desk support
• Upgrade existing computer system from Windows 7 to Windows 10
• Update corporate network diagrams
• All other duties as directed by the Supervisor, IT Operations/Industrial Programming

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college with at least 1 year completed, pursuing an Information Technology degree.
• Intermediate knowledge of the following:
  • Personal Computers
  • Microsoft Windows 10
  • Microsoft Office
  • Hardware installation and troubleshooting
  • Software installation and troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Visio
• Motivation to complete an assigned task with minimal supervision.

This is a paid internship and is expected to start at the end of spring semester and end prior to the start of fall semester. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience while in school All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
