Grow with us - we are all about nurturing talent As an Irrigation Tech at Landscape Consultants, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and installing irrigation systems to promote the health and beauty of our clients' landscapes.

Responsibilities

- Review multi-zone residential and commercial irrigation systems

- Complete installation of irrigation systems

- Inspect, program, adjust, and repair irrigation systems

- Assess and maintain time sequencing of existing systems and develop watering schedules

- Educate homeowners on use of existing irrigation system and controller

- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance of irrigation systems

- Operate trenchers, tractors, and loaders

- Document employee and equipment use for each project.

- Maintain awareness of all budgets for assigned work and communication with manager and other project managers regarding any concerns about budget issues.

- Ensure all company equipment and vehicles are operated and maintained properly, including but not limited to initiating any needed action to remedy malfunctioning or unsafe equipment.

Qualifications:

Ideal applicant should have minimum 1 year experience in irrigation to handle daily tasks and issues.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required

- Demonstrated knowledge of irrigation systems, with a preference of 1 year applied experience.

- General knowledge of landscape maintenance.

- General knowledge of zoning and other guidelines and applicable laws.

- Valid driver's license

- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.

- Strong troubleshooting skills
