 To become an enlisted Soldier in the U.S. Army, you must be:

A U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien

A high school graduate or equivalent

This is a job skill that is performed in the US Army or Army Reserves as a Soldier. Enlisting is required and will undergo pre-qualifying questions, an interview, an academic test, and a physical. This is an initial entry job skill, no experience necessary. The US Army will send you to the school to learn the job and get the necessary certifications.

The Role:

As a Medical Laboratory Specialist 68K, you'll be on the frontline of healthcare, conducting critical laboratory tests that save lives and support military operations worldwide. Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other bodily fluids to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.

Analyze test results and collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology preferred).
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Specialist (68K) or equivalent civilian credential.
Strong attention to detail and proficiency in laboratory procedures and techniques.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
US citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.
