Job Description:

As a Bellperson at the Nicewonder Inn, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a memorable stay for our guests. With a minimum of 1 year of front desk or bellperson experience, you will serve as the first point of contact for guests upon arrival and departure, delivering warm hospitality and assistance with luggage and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, providing assistance with luggage and valet parking services.

- Escort guests to their rooms, explaining hotel amenities, services, and features along the way.

- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing information and assistance as needed to enhance their stay.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the lobby area, including the bell stand and entrance vestibule.

- Assist with guest transportation arrangements, including calling taxis, arranging airport transfers, and providing directions to local attractions.

- Work collaboratively with Front Desk and Concierge teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient communication.

- Handle guest luggage with care, ensuring proper storage and retrieval according to hotel procedures.

- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, adhering to uniform standards and grooming policies.

- Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues in guest rooms or public areas to appropriate departments.

- Uphold the Nicewonder Inn's standards of hospitality and service excellence, exceeding guest expectations with every interaction.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in hospitality or related field preferred.

- Minimum of 1 year of front desk or bellperson experience in a hotel or resort setting.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable attitude.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy luggage.

- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
