Job Description:

As the Tomahawk Technician, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, upgrading, and installing all equipment at the Surface Warfare Engineering Facility (SWEF) Tomahawk Lab, as well as removing, repairing, reconfiguring, upgrading and installing all lab equipment. To be successful, you must have experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance of systems and equipment related to Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control Systems (TTWCS). Additionally, you will need to have proficiency in technical publications to follow various diagrams, drawings, and schematics.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control Systems with an emphasis on technical operation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with technical publications such as diagrams, drawings, and schematics.
  • High School, GED, or Naval Training.
  • An active Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Previous Surface Warfare Engineering Facility experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Security Clearance:

Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not be limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
