Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 8am-4pm
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Unarmed Security Guard to join our security team at a client's medical device building. The primary responsibilities will include conducting vehicle and foot patrols, monitoring the premises, and ensuring the safety and security of the facility and its occupants.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Patrol: Conduct regular vehicle patrols around the perimeter of the building and parking areas. Ensure all access points and exterior areas are secure and report any suspicious activities or unauthorized vehicles.
- Foot Patrol: Perform routine foot patrols inside and around the facility to monitor security and safety conditions. Check doors, windows, and other access points to ensure they are secure.
- Access Control: Monitor and control access to the building. Check identification and credentials of visitors and contractors, and maintain a log of all entries and exits.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies. Report and document any security breaches, safety hazards, or incidents.
- Surveillance Monitoring: Observe and monitor CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment to detect any suspicious activities or potential threats.
- Customer Service: Provide assistance and direction to visitors and employees, ensuring a friendly and professional presence at all times.
- Report Writing: Maintain accurate and detailed daily activity logs and incident reports. Communicate effectively with the security team and management.
- Experience: Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Skills: Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid security guard license as required by the state. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Must have a VALID Driver's license and clean driving record.
- Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 8am-4pm
- $17-19 an hour
