As a Housekeeping Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our multifamily communities. You will work closely with the property management team to ensure that all common areas, leasing offices, and vacant units are clean and presentable to current and prospective residents. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a welcoming environment for others.
Requirements:- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform routine cleaning tasks in common areas, including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and leasing offices, to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
- Vacant Unit Turnovers: Prepare vacant units for new residents by cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces, appliances, and fixtures, and ensuring they are move-in ready.
- Maintenance Support: Assist with light maintenance tasks as needed, such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, and reporting any maintenance issues to the property management team.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and report any shortages or damaged equipment to the property manager.
- Customer Service: Interact with residents and respond to any housekeeping-related inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Previous Experience: Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards throughout the property.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Customer Focus: Friendly and courteous demeanor with a focus on providing excellent customer service to residents and guests.
- Safety Conscious: Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to housekeeping tasks, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
