Finance Intern

Paid Summer Internship with MMI's Finance Department

MMI Engineered Solutions is currently seeking an Intern student to join our team

Located in Saline, Michigan, MMI Engineered Solutions provides world class engineering solutions for advanced composites and engineered resins across multiple industries. We engineer innovative ideas for today's complex design and manufacturing issues.

Essential Functions:

• Assist US Ops for processing of AP paperwork from completion to the check run
• Assist US Ops for processing AR invoicing paperwork for US Component Products
• Assist with monitoring discrepancies and issues with AR & AP
• Research source of the discrepancy issues and follow up with the responsible department for correction
• Collect data and prepare monthly metrics as needed
• Support other accounting projects, as necessary

Qualifications:

• Junior or Senior working towards a Bachelors in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proven knowledge of applicable accounting functions, systems, and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers and employees in a professional manner
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong worth ethic
• Effective problem analysis and problem-solving skills
