Position Description:
 

This role is responsible for administering all aspects of the Oracle database server hosting environment and GoldenGate Replication, as well as displaying ownership and technical proficiency in the following areas:

  • Install, configure and administer Oracle servers, including the design, configuration and operation of n-node clusters, data recovery, and user/group/role definition
  • 8-10 years of experience as a core DBA with Standby and Goldengate
  • Hands on work experience as a core Oracle DBA doing activities such as database upgrade, patching, tuning etc..
  • OLTP, OLAP, Staging, and Datawarehouse configurations
  • Install, Configure, troubleshoot and support GoldenGate Replication between different version of Oracle Database and across GoldenGate releases.
  • Perform GoldenGate Upgrade/re-setup replication w/out any data loss
  • Strong fundamentals in all aspects of DBA responsibilities.
  • BA/BS in a related technical field; or the equivalent in education and work experience
  • Experience with Oracle 11g, 12c and Golden Gate 12.X
  • Strong track record supporting complex GoldenGate Replication Setup across different release of Oracle Database and different release of GoldenGate
  • Excellent communication skills, customer service and client management skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata/ODA etc..) a plus
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Cloud AWS, Azure, OCI

Education Required:  BS in Computer Science or equivalent
