SharePoint Consultant

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SharePoint Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SharePoint Design, Development, Migration, Training, and Ad Hoc Support, along with experience in Microsoft Entra ID. As a SharePoint Consultant, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions that meet our clients’ unique business needs.  This is a client facing position that requires coaching and training staff on SharePoint use and functionality. 

TASK AND RESPONSABILITIES:

• Design:
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and understand their requirements, and translate them into effective SharePoint designs
  • Create user-friendly and intuitive SharePoint sites, ensuring a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing design
• Development:
  • Develop custom SharePoint solutions, including web parts, workflows, and apps
  • Implement solutions using SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and PowerShell scripting
• Migration:
  • Plan and execute SharePoint migrations from legacy systems or previous SharePoint versions to modern SharePoint platforms
  • Ensure data integrity and seamless transition during migration processes
• Training:
  • Provide comprehensive training to end users and administrators on SharePoint functionality and best practices
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance user adoption and proficiency
• Ad Hoc Support:
  • Provide ongoing support for SharePoint environments, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and enhancements
  • Address and resolve user issues and requests in a timely manner
• Microsoft Entra ID:
  • Integrate SharePoint solutions with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) for enhanced identity and access management
  • Implement single sign-on (SSO) and role-based access control (RBAC) solutions using Microsoft Entra ID
• Additional requirements may exist if offer of employment is extended

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience as a SharePoint Consultant or in a similar role
• At least 2 years of experience in SharePoint design, development, and migration
• At least 2 years of experience in SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and PowerShell
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

• 3 + Years of experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• 2 + Years of experience of SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• Microsoft certification in SharePoint or related technologies
• GCC – GCC High SharePoint Migration
