Position Summary:

The Warehouse/Delivery Pro will be responsible for participating in the safe operation of receiving, storing, loading, and securement of material and equipment in the warehouse. This position will also support the transportation team in assisting in unloading cargo and transporting goods, following all the established guidelines to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

• Safely and efficiently operate a variety of trucks (stake bed-liftgate-F-series).

• Participate in the safe unloading and reloading of customer-owned material and equipment.

• Unload cargo at customer destination.

• Adhere to all Company safety rules, standards, and guidelines.

• Take accurate dimensions and check-in items to the WMS system.

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document any anomalies.

• Follow delivery/pick-up instructions from the dispatch department.

• Assist in unloading cargo at customer destination.

• Confirm that items and quantities on delivery paperwork match what is on the truck.

• Promptly report all incidents/accidents.

• Maintain daily and monthly trip logs according to local, state, and federal regulations.

• Keeps all equipment clean and reports any necessary repairs to management.

• Actively lives our culture of excellence and adheres to all company safety rules, standards, and guidelines.

• Assist with warehouse duties and maintain a clean organized facility.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be able to drive a commercial truck and operate a forklift.

• Requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Requires the ability to effectively build rapport with both internal and external customers.

• Requires a positive attitude and ability to function independently and in a team setting.

• Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time effectively.

• Must be able to communicate in English concerning the position's essential functions.

Required Experience and Education:

• Valid class "B" CDL interstate license.

• Valid medical card.

• High school diploma or GED.

• One year of prior truck driving experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull 50 pounds.

• Requires visual, hearing, and speech acuity.

• Requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk long distances for extended periods of time.

• Exposure to extreme temperatures and weather, noise, and fumes.
