Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Shop Manager, the labor hand is responsible for safely performing all job aspects in connection with the washing of trucks and equipment.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual compliance inspections as required.

• Report any and all compliance failures to supervisor.

• Perform daily walk around inspections to identify housekeeping standards are always maintained.

• Ensure to follow Company/Terminal Policies and Procedures when accessing or working in the Terminal.

• Cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior of commercial vehicles using various tools such as pressure washers, long pole brushes and hosts to clean.

• Keeping track of inventory used/needed to complete job.

• Perform other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs.

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to work varied hours including weekends, holidays, evenings, and/or overnight shifts required.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to stand, walk; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk with alternate standing. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a dry, sometimes dusty warehouse environment as well as outside elements.
