Toffler Associates seeks strategy consultants to join our future-focused strategic advisory firm based in Arlington, VA. As a Futurist Strategy Consultant, you engage your analytical mind while using your excellent interpersonal and communication skills on a regular basis. You conduct research and analysis on an evolving ecosystem of policies, technology, innovation, research and development, and societal change to establish findings, conclusions, and develop recommendations. You plan and lead large executive leader facilitation working groups. You also engage and communicate with stakeholders regularly. Using your strong project management and client delivery skills, you lead the development of executive-level reports and deliverables. You get great satisfaction out of making a positive impact on the future infrastructure of organizations and communities throughout the country.

Your impact will include:

  • Leading engagements and teams of 2-4 people to ensure successful delivery to our clients
  • Providing project management support to ensure we meet client needs for timeliness and quality
  • Developing frameworks and understanding our Toffler Associates frameworks to provide organization insights
  • Understanding and synthesizing, and sometimes conducting, research and analysis that drives findings for our clients
  • Leading stakeholder engagement through communications and facilitation

You'll arrive equipped with:

  • 4+ years professional experience in management consulting with an established consulting firm
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
  • Quantitative and qualitative research and analysis skills
  • Experience with market research, conducting executive-level interviews and identifying data from primary and secondary sources
  • Project Management and client delivery experience
  • Orientation to nurture and grow new relationships
  • Experience in facilitation of small and large client meetings, senior executive off-sites, etc.
  • Ability to communicate complex and challenging business problems in easy-to-understand and relevant language
  • Ability to commute regularly within the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and travel out-of-town within the US (up to 20%).
  • U.S. citizenship (the nature of our work with the federal government limits our hiring to U.S. citizens)
