Position Summary
Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software. Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system. Provide orientation to new users of existing technology. Provide individual training and support on request. Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources. Troubleshoot all technology issues. Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance. Provide network access to all staff. Install work stations. Connect and set up hardware. Load all required software. Provide network accounts and passwords as required. Monitor security of all technology. Install and maintain and passwords. Input and maintain IP addresses. Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate. Ensure hardware is stripped and secured before disposal. Perform other related duties as required during working hours.

Position Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to project a professional Image.
- Must comprehend, and comply with company rules and policies
- Pass a mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Must pass a mandatory criminal background test
- 1-2 years of hospital IT experience preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, and strong presentation skills with ability to adjust accordingly for a variety of audiences.
- Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting, or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting is ineligible for employment in this position.
- Freedom from illegal use of drugs.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in information systems, data processing, electronics technology, or microcomputer systems required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
IT certification
Language Skills

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral and/or diagram form. Ability to define and solve problems, interpret data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

- Provides network and desktop support to staff including remote offices.
- Configures computer systems for new hires.
- Support IT communications issues with users.
- Perform mobile device setup, installation and/or post installation support.
- Occasionally work outside of regular business hours to resolve urgent issues.
- Analyzes and recovers system when malfunction occurs.
- Monitors security Procedures.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware on-line to maintain performance and system throughout.
- Coordinates and schedules work within vendor service providers.
