As a Float Chef at SilverCrest, you’ll adapt to different dietary needs and preferences of residents, ensuring that every meal is not only delicious but also nutritious. By introducing new flavors, textures, and innovative cooking techniques, a Float Chef can enhance the dining experience, making it a highlight of each resident's day. Moreover, your ability to seamlessly transition from facility to facility allows you to share best practices, train kitchen staff, and implement standardized procedures, thereby improving overall operational efficiency.

The schedule for this position requires flexibility. You must be willing to work within the hours of 6:00am – 6:00pm, Monday – Friday with occasional weekends as needed.

What you will need:

• Ability to travel from facility to facility
• High school diploma or GED
• Five years of experience in a chef role –OR- be a graduate of an accredited course in Culinary Arts
• ServSafe certification or be willing to obtain certification within 90 days of start date
