Your day to day as a Early Childhood Assistant Teacher - Infant

As a Part Time Early Childhood Assistant Infant Teacher at the Y, you'll have the exciting opportunity to work closely with our lead teacher to create a stimulating and engaging environment for our little ones. Your day-to-day tasks will involve assisting in program activities, conducting assessments, preparing snacks, and ensuring clear communication with children, parents, YMCA personnel, and center guests as needed. Your role as a supportive team member will be crucial in providing high-quality care and education to our infants. Join us in making a difference in the lives of these young minds and hearts

What you need to be successful

To thrive as a Part Time Early Childhood Assistant Infant Teacher at the Y, you'll need to Meet ODJFS licensing qualifications in training and background checks to ensure the safety and welfare of the children in our care. Your ability to maintain a secure environment by being vigilant of child activities at all times will be crucial. Collaboration is key, so working effectively as part of a team with other staff members is essential. Your creativity and passion for early childhood education will shine through as you assist in creating a stimulating learning environment with developmentally appropriate activities. Excellent communication skills will be your superpower as you interact with children, their parents, fellow YMCA/JCC staff, and center guests.
