Position Purpose

The eService Specialist III is responsible for providing an outstanding member experience through all channels of delivery. They serve as the credit union ambassador for all incoming online new memberships and perform a variety of member service and lending requests. They are empowered to offer solutions, resolve issues, and provide recommendations on products and services to improve member's financial wellbeing. 

Essential Duties

  • Provide outstanding member service through all delivery methods: in person, email, text, phone, and chat.  
  • Process incoming applications for new membership following audit procedures 
  • Perform new membership onboarding with intent to serve as a financial ambassador during their first year of membership with Vibe.   
  • Provide recommendations on products and services to enhance members' financial lives 
  • Perform outbound calling to membership including but not limited to establish new connections, wellness check-ins, retain current members, and resolve account issues. 
  • Process, underwrite, and disburse all loan requests. 
  • Service member accounts by explaining benefits and opening products; including new accounts, certificates, IRAs and all lending products.  
  • Meet or exceed sales performance and productivity goals set forth by the credit union 
  • Complete required daily, monthly, and quarterly reports and assignments. 
  • Assist and support all branch and Credit Union personnel as needed. 
  • Provide notary and signature guarantee service to members. 
  • Must be willing to maintain a work schedule determined by the demographic needs of the branch location and be willing to adapt to the changing needs of the branch schedule, as necessary. 
  • Follow policies and procedures related to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) daily to ensure compliance with current regulations. 
  • Ability to perform basic Teller transactions and serve as a back-up when needed for branch coverage.  
  • Perform other special assignments as needed. 

Education/Experience

  • High School graduate or equivalent 
  • Customer/ Member Service experience preferred  
  • Lending experience helpful  

Skills/Abilities

  • Strong customer service and sales skills 
  • The ability to multi-task 
  • Good communication skills, professional appearance, and positive attitude 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
