Position Summary:

Landsea Homes is seeking an intelligent and highly organized individual interested in a fast-paced and challenging position as a Production Coordinator. This position is responsible for preparing building permit submittal packages, as well as coordinating the efficient submittal, approval, and retrieval of permits from respective municipalities.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate smooth permit approvals and liaise effectively with local authorities and municipalities.
  • Prepare and submit accurate permit applications to relevant agencies and boards.
  • Review division-issued plans and construction start packages for accuracy.
  • Work with Sales and Design associates to identify and resolve paperwork errors within established company procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing team and Area Construction Managers to resolve any field-related issues.
  • Manage check requests and coordinate paperwork with external consultants as necessary.
  • Oversee schedules and timelines for all communities, collaborating closely with municipalities and maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
  • Participate in weekly construction starts meetings and utilize Prestart Task reporting to drive predictability and identify potential delays.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments and maintain accurate data entry of permitting information within company systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive start packages for Construction Managers and arrange inspections for closing.
  • Organize and manage company files related to site plan applications, approvals, licenses, and permits.
  • Create Vendor Purchase Orders as needed and process department invoices for timely payment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience with a Home Builder, Contractor, or Construction Supplier is highly desirable.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with a strong focus on Excel.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable communicating cross-functionally with internal and external business partners.

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary position. May be required to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard. This position requires public contact, as such, appropriate business apparel and professional appearance is expected.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel may be required. A valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance is required at all times.
