Skillforce Inc. is currently hiring for carpenter helpers for ongoing commercial projects in Houston, TX. The ideal carpenter helper candidate has at least 2 years experience in a commercial setting. Pay is $21 - $24/hour based on skillset and experience.

Carpenter Helper Requirements:

  • Assemble, erect and repair frameworks - wood and metal
  • Install flooring, windows, doors, interior trim, cabinetry, roofing, siding, insulation, drywall, and more.
  • Ability to do trim work
  • Ability to hang drywall
  • Install of floors, roofs, and walls
  • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
  • Ability to read and build from blueprints

Commercial Carpenter Helper Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of proven experience as a carpenter
  • OSHA 10 required
  • Must have your own tools
  • Your own reliable transportation
  • Able to work out of town/overtime as needed

Job Type: Full-time, Day Shift

Salary: $21 - $24 per hour Pay based on skillset and experience.
