Job Summary
  • Maximize Client Retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability. Oversee the process of checking in with our athletes daily.
  • Lead regular coach meetings and provide feedback to coaches on coaching the D1 way
  • Oversee all athletic programming and ensure we are giving our athletes the best product and experience possible
  • Membership sales, the Head Coach will be involved in the sales and upsell process. Regular roleplaying will be involved Sales commissions will be a nice bonus
  • Responsible for the hiring/firing/training/certification of all coaches.
  • Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.A D1 Coach must be dedicated to training and improving the lives of D1s members Scholastic (ages 7-18), Adults, and Teams, by:
  • Exhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service
  • Starting and finishing workouts on time
  • Assessing and aligning each member with the proper program
  • Building and maintaining relationships with each D1 member
  • Coaching group workouts, personal training, and teams
  • Delivering accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition
  • Teaching proper form and technique and keeping all our athletes safe
Key Responsibilities for the Position
  • Member Sales
  • Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
  • Managing coaching staff
  • Lead athlete events such as combines, community events
  • Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
  • Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.
  • Reduce an athlete's risk of injury by focusing on proper technique and movement patterns.
Qualifications
  • Valid CPR/AED
  • Proven training and coaching experience
  • Athletic background
  • Experience in Instructing classes of 20+ clients
  • Live in the area or seek to relocate immediately
  • 2+ years of strength and speed training experience in a high school, collegiate, or professional performance/fitness setting
  • Preferred Certification: Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength & Conditioning Association- (CSCS from NSCA)
