Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs the lead point of contact for all airframe and powerplant-related matters within the organization, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the activities of the maintenance team to ensure that tasks are executed in a timely and effective manner. This will involve collaborating with other departments to optimize aircraft availability and minimize downtime. To perform this role effectively, you will need to stay current with all relevant FAA regulations, particularly those related to Part 135 operations. You will need to ensure that all maintenance activities and procedures adhere to FAA standards and guidelines. This will include performing and supervising scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on airframes and powerplants in accordance with manufacturer specifications, as well as conducting thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to identify and address potential issues promptly. In addition to this, you will also be required to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. It will be your responsibility to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs, and to prepare and submit required documentation to regulatory authorities as per FAA requirements. To ensure a high level of competency within the team, you will be expected to provide training and mentorship to maintenance personnel. You will also need to stay informed about new technologies and industry best practices, and implement relevant training programs to keep the team up-to-date with the latest development

Qualifications
- The candidate must possess an A&P License.
- The candidate must have prior experience in a private jet company handling Part 91/135/145 operations as part of their day-to-day workflow.
- Ideally, the candidate should have experience working with Gulfstreams and Challengers.
- The candidate should have the ability to take up multiple responsibilities and adapt to a company that may be going through some growth challenges but has potential for upward mobility.
- The candidate can either be local or willing to relocate (without assistance) for the position.
