We are hiring Lifeguards for our Redmond and Kirkland locations. Applicants have the option to work at either Kirkland, Redmond or both locations.

Lifeguard Primary Duties
Oversee facility operations & patron safety, supervise staff
- Prioritize safety of everyone in the facility at all times
- Enforce pool rules and regulations
- Perform various maintenance duties to maintain a clean and safe facility
- Provide emergency care and treatment as required
- Field questions, concerns, complaints related to pool programs
- Provide excellent customer service to pool patrons
- Monitor pool water chemistry through water testing; ensure that all required chemical checks are happening and being recorded
- Maintain and abide by all King County Health Code standards
Other Duties
- Answer phone calls and respond to messages
- Complete required reports and records including incident, accident, theft, vandalism and any other incidents of concern
- Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisors, in a timely manner
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Skill and application of lifeguard surveillance and rescue techniques
- Knowledge and certification of CPR, First Aid, AED, and Lifeguarding
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, participants, all user groups, and the general public
Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of a valid American Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED certificate (In-house training available)
- Actively Pursuing or Possess a High School Diploma or GED
Salary: $17.00 to $18.50 /hour depending on experience
