Job Description:

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Pharmacy Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for handling transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining an organized and efficient cashier area. The selected candidate will also be required to obtain their Technician Trainee certification and undergo training to become a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Process prescription and over-the-counter sales transactions accurately.

Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions with precision.

Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.

Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure a smooth workflow.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

Willingness to undergo training to become a Pharmacy Technician Trainee.

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a retail or pharmacy setting.
