Position Overview: 

The Motorsport Network marketing team is looking for an experienced B2B storyteller with exceptional skills creating best-in-class presentations for media ad sales teams. The Creative Strategist will play a direct role in helping to develop and implement Motorsport Network’s new commercial marketing narratives, proving value through both data and creative ideation, persuading target audiences to act, and ultimately driving ad sales revenue. As our business rapidly transforms, this role will be instrumental in identifying and cultivating revenue-generating commercial opportunities across all media platforms, including video, social, digital, audio, and events. The ideal candidate is an adaptable, proactive, and innovative individual who has superb communication, storytelling, writing, project management, and collaboration skills with a proven track record for crafting impactful B2B presentation materials. Interested candidates should have a clear sense—and interest in—the rapidly evolving media and marketing industry, sports, fandom, and culture.    

Responsibilities: 

Work in lockstep with sales and marketing leadership to drive Sales Enablement, Brand initiatives, and MarCom—establishing must-buy status for Motorsport Network across key advertising categories, including automotive, travel, beer/spirits/beverages, luxury, watches, apparel, accessories, technology, telcom, finance, and energy. 

  • Lead or partner on the development of compelling sales enablement tools, messaging, and packaging including integrated pitch decks, case studies, collateral, and presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition of Motorsport Network's offerings to the media and advertising community. 

  • Lead marketing deliverables for proactive pitches and RFP response, provide strategic recommendations to sales teams and their advertising clients, incorporating the full suite of Motorsport offerings including content creation, digital media products, event activations, influencer programs, social campaigns, and more. 

  • Lead the development of custom ideas that will serve as compelling thought-starters for client conversations that generate new business. 

  • Create marketing plans to amplify advertiser messages across tactics like collateral, emails, whitepapers, website copy, case studies, infographics. 

  • Mine data and research for insights to guide messaging strategy and pitch positioning and use advertising performance metrics to establish ability to deliver on benchmark KPI’s.  

  • Suggest new proof points for the research and performance teams to work towards 

  • Become the expert in our competitive set and how to best communicate to the marketplace. 

  • Ensure that all content is on-brand and consistent across all channels. 

  • Work as an effective cross-functional partner with various internal stakeholders and external agencies including Sales, Pre-Sale Marketing, Media Planning, Activation, Product, Commercial Creative, Editorial, Public Relations, Events, Corporate Strategy, and Research & Insights. 

  • Synthesize campaign performance analysis and client feedback into storytelling for program recaps and case studies. 

  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in integrated brand marketing and sales enablement efforts. 

Skills And Requirements  

  • 10+ years of experience in media ad sales marketing. 

  • Product marketing; sports, lifestyle, entertainment marketing; and/or advertising agency experience a plus. 

  • Deep experience and passion for brand storytelling, creating unique sales propositions and presentations. 

  • Strong writing and creative thinking, and power point presentation creation skills a must. 

  • Masterful at translating consumer insights to meaningful audience, messaging & creative strategy. 

  • Track record in leading impactful, breakthrough marketing initiatives that exceed business objectives. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment 

  • Ability to identify and provide recommendations for areas of improvement in internal processes. 

  • Agile self-starter who can work independently and within a team setting. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills 

  • Positive, creative, solutions oriented. 

  • Proactive, agile and willing to take on new responsibilities as we are in “build-mode.” 

  • Passion for motorsport and/or understanding of the automotive enthusiast audience is a plus. 

Compensation:  
The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $100k-$120k per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The compensation package also includes the medical, dental, and vision and an unlimited PTO plan a 401(k) with employer match.
