Agrisolutions is urgently hiring for a Material Handler and Driver for our Fargo, ND warehouse working 5:00 p.m.-1:30 a.m. In this role you will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking and shipping product, as well as driving product to customers as needed. A $1 premium will be added to base pay for working 2nd shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Receives incoming material, products and/or supplies
  • Moves materials, products or supplies from the designated receiving areas to the designated storage areas.
  • Attach a location identification tag or label to each pallet denoting where the pallet will be stored.
  • Re-pack materials or products from storage areas and/or work sites for orders to be processed and moves the material or products to the designated production or shipping areas.
  • Lift heavy objects by hand or moves material in a safe manner by the use of a hand truck, a gas or electric powered forklift or other handling equipment.
  • Enters all information required on the shipping or receiving documents and/or appropriate forms relating to piece counts, # of containers, weights, # of pallets, location and your initials and date.
  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to the material or product packages and marks information on cases, pallets and/or other containers.
  • When using, checks forklifts daily, prior to use, for any unsafe conditions. Fills out the weekly check-off list on a weekly basis and forwards the completed form to your immediate supervisor.
  • Loads trucks with material and product ready for shipment. Unloads trucks containing purchased material, product and/or supplies.
  • Keeps work area, machines, and equipment clean as necessary.
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures.
  • Attends training classes as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 or older.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a warehouse or similar setting preferred.
  • Must be able to lift 20-50 Ibs.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must consent to a background, drug screen, and lift test prior to hiring.
  • CDL IS NOT REQUIRED
