WHO AND WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Service Advisors who aren’t happy with their upward mobility or opportunity to advance at their current dealership.
  • Service Advisors with character and a strong moral personal code. We don’t Lie, Cheat, or Steal. We don’t break the rules. We don’t hurt customers. 
  • Service Advisors with a STRONG attention to detail. 
  • Service Advisors with a Customer First Mentality.

Harbor Automotive is family owned and has been serving Long Beach since 1923 (We just celebrated 100 years).  We are one of the oldest Chevrolet dealerships in the State of California.  Our main philosophies:  Hire nice people and have them treat others how they would want to be treated.  Our Golden Rule co-workers make happy clients, and we reward individuals who are ready to work hard and serve our clients. 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone with SERVICE ADVISOR EXPERIENCE (preferably Hyundai or applicable brand). 

We want to be regarded as the best, kindest, most competent service department and have the best CSI scores in the NATION.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

We do have some items we are looking for:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Positive Attitude
  • Strong Work Ethic
  • Show up on time and ready to work
  • Experience / Proven Track Record in Automotive Parts
  • Strong understanding of the service drive
  • Computer competencies (keyboard, office suite, etc.)
  • You must be a solution-oriented person (not a victim)
  • DMS Skills (We use DealerTrack)
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Proven Organizational Skills
  • You must like people and be nice to others
  • Whatever Needs to be Done Attitude
  • Constantly working in outdoor conditions
  • Mainly working in a standing/moving position (out with the team, not behind a desk)

COMPENSATION AND EARNING POTENTIAL:

These are Salary plus Incentive Based Position(s).

We will be happy to discuss pay during your in-person confidential interview.  It is difficult to talk about compensation packages until we understand your level of experience, abilities and we land on the actual position being offered.
