Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for providing guests with excellent customer service in the form of positively representing Daily Planet Health Services’ in every action taken at the front desk. General responsibilities include greeting incoming guests, answering incoming phone calls, checking in incoming patients and communicating guest needs to appropriate parties. The Central Registrar is responsible for new patient registration and financial screening to determine patient eligibility for discounted fees. The position is also responsible for providing registration to those patients who qualify for services under the Ryan White consortium. The Central Registrar will enter patient information into DPHS’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (eClinicalWorks). Participates in all safety programs which may include assignment to an emergency response team.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. One (1) to three (3) years of administrative office experience required. Skills include excellent oral and written communications including telephone, organizational, and personal computer including word processing and Microsoft office. Must be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service.
