POSITION FUNCTION
- Responsible for general plant maintenance, including installing, repairing, and maintaining CNC machinery, equipment, physical structures, and plumbing and electrical systems of all building areas by performing the following duties. This is a second shift position (3pm-11pm).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Installs, maintains, and repairs CNC machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems.
- Repairs and maintains mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment such as metal fabricating machine tools, material handling system, and automated lubrication system.
- Installs and repairs plumbing and electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes preventive maintenance schedules for equipment, machinery, tools, or building.
- Performs technician duties in their absence, as needed, to ensure the continuous safe operation of the production floor and building regarding maintenance issues.
- Assists other Maintenance Personnel as required.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION
- Experience with Electrical/Mechanical CNC/Machine maintenance.
- Experience with General plant maintenance on building/grounds.
- Experience with a formal preventative maintenance program.
- Self-motivated individual.
- High School diploma/GED
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate information with managers and other employees, both orally and in writing.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as rate, ratio, interest, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to uncomfortable cold or heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
***All employees in the Maintenance Department may be exposed to Hazardous Materials and as such, are required to complete new hire and annual RCRA-Resource Conservation and Recovery Act training, as well as HAZWOPER training, and are required to wear proper protective (PPE) equipment as required per OSHA.***
