  • We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for Contracting position in Client to establish functional assays with different eukaryotic cell types.
  • The project utilizing cell biology techniques will deepen the understanding of complexity of cell types, their biology and functions promoting trait development for the company.
  • The candidate will help in establishing protocols and assays with eukaryotic cells using cutting edge technology and imaging systems.
  • The successful applicant would also be able to receive training in basic wet lab skills to advanced molecular techniques.

Key tasks & responsibilities
  • Design experiments, execute and troubleshoot for desired outcome
  • Develop protocols and assays using eukaryotic cells
  • Microdissection of tissues
  • Culture and maintain different eukaryotic cell types
  • Determine cell attributes using microscopy/FACS
  • Study functional response through protein-protein interactions
  • Proper documentation of experiments and maintain thorough records
  • Ability to use small equipment following standard safety measures
  • Insect rearing and handling
Qualifications & competencies
  • Bachelor's/Master's
  • Specialization in Entomology/Cell Biology/Molecular Biology
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic microscopy skills (optional)
  • Ability to learn and apply new concepts and techniques
  • Troubleshooting
  • Work in diverse team environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Good record keeping
  • Interest to read literature and learn
