SitelogIQ is a rapidly growing energy and facility services company focused on making buildings better. We provide planning, design, and management solutions for organizations that want efficient and sustainable building environments that are healthier and safer for their occupants.

Our CADD Technician will work out of our Northeast Business Unit, located in Harrisburg, PA. They will be responsible for performing drafting operations and detailed design using Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit to produce technical drawings. You’ll work independently under the supervision of our professional mechanical and electrical engineers. Our design team works a hybrid arrangement with a few days at the office and a few days from home.

CADD Technician Responsibilities

  • Create building systems drawings and 3D Revit models based on client project requirements.
  • Set up drawings following current CADD standards.
  • Draft and prepare layout drawings for building MEP systems with a focus on HVAC plans.
  • Engage in technical design review and coordination process with the design team including engineers and designers.
  • Conducting surveys and site visits
  • Revise drawings and documents to accommodate changes and enhancements.
  • Prepare layout drawings for building mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

CADD Technician Qualifications

  • Technical Degree in Computer Aided Drafting preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years drafting experience or equivalent while earning technical degree.
  • Proficiency in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD Software
  • Knowledge in the use of Autodesk Revit software preferred
  • Knowledge with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite preferred
  • Good communication skills; listening, comprehension, and feedback
  • Fundamental understanding of HVAC system design preferred
  • Industry certifications preferred
  • Must be able to pass background checks and clearances required by the PA Department of Education
